Every interaction in nudge has a sound and a haptic of its own, generated rather than sampled, and each can be switched off on its own.

Reminders are set on two dials: the left one picks the day, the right one the time, one detent at a time.
Finished work settles below a dashed line instead of vanishing, and is cleared on your schedule, from never to thirty days.

Your inbox is already your to-do list.

You already email yourself. nudge connects one mailbox, read-only, and turns the notes you send yourself into tasks.

Connect Gmail or Outlook by signing in with Google or Microsoft, iCloud Mail with an app-specific password, or any other IMAP server.
Read-only access. Nothing in your mailbox is ever marked, moved, changed or sent.
Only mail you sent to your own address counts. The subject becomes the title, the text becomes the notes, attached files come across as task files, and the task carries an Email tag.
A subject like “Idea: plan the autumn weekend” also tags the task Idea and keeps the rest as the title.
Send the same note again and it does not pile up. nudge counts the repeat, adds only what the task does not already have, moves it to the top and nudges you about it, inside the quiet hours you choose.

What nudge does not do.

No account

There is nothing to sign up for. Tasks live on your device and, if you turn it on, in your own private iCloud database.

No backend

No server of ours ever sees your tasks, your notes or your mail. There is no server of ours in the path at all.

No tracking

No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs watching you work.

Do I have to subscribe?

No. The first seven days are free. Afterwards, nudge pro is needed only to add new tasks. Everything you already have stays fully editable.

Where are my tasks stored?

On your device and, if iCloud sync is on, in the private database of your own iCloud account. The developer has no access to it.

What exactly does the email import read?

Only messages in your inbox whose sender and recipient are your own address, or one of the extra sender addresses you list. It reads the subject, the text and any attached files to create the task, and nothing else. It never marks, moves, deletes or sends mail.

How does it know a note is a repeat?

Arriving subjects are compared with your open tasks by word overlap, ignoring reply markers and punctuation. A close match joins the task it repeats and raises its count instead of creating a second one.

Will it flood me with notifications?

No. Repeated tasks are offered at most the number of times a day you choose, never inside your quiet hours, and a task you keep putting off stops being offered.

Does it work without the email part?

Yes. Email import is optional and off until you connect a mailbox in Settings.
